New York, NY – (February 26, 2008) – On Sunday, March 9 at 7PM, Jaci Velasquez and Salvador will be performing a benefit concert at Fellowship Bible Church in Brentwood, TN for the Tornado Victims in Tennessee. The concert is free to the public and donations will be taken for the victims of the recent Tennessee Tornadoes.
On February 5, 2008, Tennessee was one of five states (others include Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky and Mississippi) struck by a series of massive tornados that caused at least 52 deaths (28 alone were reported in Tennessee) and 150 injuries. The tornados have torn communities apart with power outages and property damage. Hundreds of volunteers gathered in the aftermath to search for missing victims and help clean up the affected areas.
Giving back in this way is something close to Jaci’s heart and is aligned with her upcoming album Love Out Loud that hits stores on March 18th. For more information on Jaci Velasquez, please visit www.jacivelasquez.com and for Salvador visit www.salvadorlive.com.
